Let me tell you about someone near and dear to me.
She has had many changes, gone by many names and has existed in many forms over the years. I have interacted with others just like her on a highly limited basis, hoping, wishing even as a small child that I would one day have someone like her in my life. Life went on when she wasn’t around, but it wasn’t as fulfilling, wasn’t as broad as it is now.
On one fateful day, I finally had someone like her which I could call my own. She gave me access to places which I could not normally reach. Expanded my horizons, showing me things I never knew, or knew that I wanted to know. She has introduced me to people from either near and quite far and for that I could never thank her enough. She lets my hands wander aimlessly to my leisure with nary a complaint or a objection. I asked, and she gave, not asking for much in return other than special attention.
